David Oistrakh (1908-1974) Violinist, David Oistrakh copy of the May week Concert programme dated 4 June 1969 with Russian Translation, together with Score of Brahms Concerto with a dedication from David Oistrakh in Russian. Provenance: On the occasion of Oistrakh being award Mus.D.Cant. A.P. Vlasto was at Cambridge as a Russian expert and served as David Oistrajk's translator durign the visit

You will please excuse this post card. I have no other stamps at the moment and am living in a farmhouse 5 miles from the nearest post office, without a car.
